Software Manual
LaserViewerTM software allows rapid observation of measured laser emission spectra at different injection currents and heat sink temperatures. Absorption lines for selected molecules from the HITRAN database can also be viewed simultaneously with laser emission spectra.
To install the Laser Viewer software download and save the file LV_Installer.exe (using the link above) to your desktop or a temporary folder. This executable is a self-extracting zip file that will prompt the user for a temporary folder location. One of the uncompressed files will be "setup.exe". Run this program to install LaserViewer to your local hard drive. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserViewer. The LV Installer Directory, download file, and all uncompressed files can be deleted after a successful download.
To download program data go to each individual laser web page
and click on the "Download Laser Data" below the name and serial
number. This will save a self-extracting zip file (*.exe) to your
local hard drive. Run this program to copy the data files into the
LaserViewer directory. The default directory is C:\Program
Files\LaserViewer.
